Welcome to the new MoonAcre Spa experience. We’ve enacted Social Distancing standards to maximize comfort. Breathe easy knowing we're doing everything we can to ensure your experience is safe and stress-free. We'll provide clean robes and slippers, in addition to a mask for you in case you've forgotten your favorite one at home.

Our spacious and airy Spa Garden invites meditative contemplation, with plenty of room to practice Social Distancing. We’ll sweat the details, so you can relax. We’re disinfecting massage rooms after each treatment including all surfaces, tools, and massage tables. Our massage therapists will continue to provide treatments tailored for you, albeit wearing face masks.

The Spa is currently closed. When we reopen, Members and hotel guests may reserve an appointment, Friday through Sunday, from 10am - 5pm. Advanced reservations will be required. Call 707.942.0992 or email spahost@moonacrespacalistoga.com to plan your visit.

Which spa treatments will be available?

We have streamlined our summer services, and continue to offer massages, mud bakes, baths, and body treatments.

  • Facials are not available and we are unable to offer 80 minute treatments at this time.

How can I make an appointment?

  • We will request a credit card at time of booking. Your check out experience will be electronic.
  • Once booked, you will receive a confirmation email outlining the latest procedures.
  • We will call to confirm your appointment two days prior and answer any questions.
  • Appointment times are staggered in 30 minute intervals to promote safety.
  • Members and guests must reserve their spa appointments in advance, no walk-ins are permitted.
  • For last minute bookings, please call or email the spa.

What can I expect when I arrive?

  • A new, outside waiting area, complete with umbrellas, sun sails, chairs, and a fountain.
  • Relax in this new, open-air lounge space for up to 15-minutes before your appointment.
  • Our staff will greet you, check you in, ensure your waiver is signed, and provide a mask as needed.
  • Guests will be asked to leave their shoes outside or in a designated space.
  • Guests will be welcomed into the Spa one booking at a time.
  • Groups of more than six will have exclusive time in spa, free from other guests.
  • We will provide individually wrapped robes and sanitized sandals. Guests may bring their own.
  • Guests will receive a locker assignment, or will be escorted directly to the Lounge or Spa Garden.
  • We will limit locker room use and mark the floors for ease of social distancing.
  • Amenities including hair dryers, curling irons, brushes, combs, make up remove, Q-tips have been removed and are available upon request.

Will the Spa Lounge be open?

  • Yes, the Spa Lounge is available although the experience has been modified.
  • Coloring books, puzzle, magic eye books and games have been removed for safety.
  • Our staff will provide spa water and tea (no longer self-serve).
  • The steam room is currently closed due to social distancing protocols.
  • Lounge furniture has been spaced out and is regularly cleaned.
  • The Spa Garden has been enhanced to create an additional, open-air lounge space.

What can I expect during my treatment?

  • Our staff is extensively trained in safety and will be following a multi-point checklist leading up to your appointment.
  • Relax in this new, open-air lounge space for up to 15-minutes before your appointment.
  • Our staff will greet you, check you in, and provide a mask as needed.
  • Guests will be welcomed into the Spa one booking at a time, whether individual guests or a small group booking.
  • Groups of more than six will have exclusive time in spa, free from other guests.

What can I expect after my treatment?

  • After treatment, your check out experience will be touchless.
  • We will run the credit card provided at booking. A 20% gratuity will be included.
  • Relax in the open-air Spa Garden, newly upgraded with misters, shade sails, and distanced patio seating.
  • Lounge on our hammock platform.
  • Swim and soak in our mineral pools.
  • Shop retail including take-home kits. If you would like to test a product, our spa associates will assist you.

Are the mineral pools open?

  • Yes, mineral pools are open with the following safety protocols.
  • Fresh air, fresh seats. We’ll sanitize all pool furniture with increased frequency.
  • More room to bask in the sun. We’ll space out pool and garden furniture to
    meet Social Distancing standards.
  • Everyone gets a turn. We’ll monitor pool area occupancy, and provide
    a reservations list and capping pool time, if needed.

Is it safe to swim?

  • Yes, according to public health officials, adequate chlorine coupled with Social Distancing is effective in preventing virus transmission.
  • Pool chlorine levels are automated via state of the art equipment, and chemicals are monitored throughout the day.

What features of MoonAcre Spa are currently closed?

  • MoonAcre Spa is currently closed in compliance with state and local guidelines.
  • Current closures also include: Hot tub and steam room.
  • Access will be limited: Spa Lounge (limited capacity), Locker Rooms (limited capacity).
  • We've streamlined our treatments menu. We are unable to offer facials.

Will day passes be available?

  • MoonAcre Spa is currently closed in compliance with state and local guidelines.
  • Spa visits will be reserved for Members and hotel guests, and require advanced reservations.
  • Additionally, the mineral pools are only open to Members and hotel guests.
  • Receive 25% off your stay through September 30, 2020.
